Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to Trip/Trek bookings made with Skyhike.

Cancellation Charges

30 days or more before the Date of Travel: 30% of the total Booking Cost will be charged.
16–29 days before the Date of Travel: 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged.
7–15 days before the Date of Travel: 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged.
Less than 7 days before the Date of Travel: 100% of the total Booking Cost will be charged.
Where a refund is applicable, 5% GST and payment gateway charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refundable amount.

A traveler may be eligible for a refund when the booking is cancelled and Skyhike is informed before 7 days of the scheduled Date of Travel.
The refund will be calculated according to the cancellation charges applicable to the booking.
5% GST and payment gateway charges will not be refunded.

If a booking is cancelled 1 or 2 days before the scheduled Date of Travel, the booking amount is non-refundable.

If payment is not made according to the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation email, Skyhike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to contact the traveler.
Any applicable refund will be issued according to the package cancellation policy.

A traveler may transfer their Trip/Trek to a friend before 15 days of the Date of Travel.
The Trip/Trek can be transferred for any Trip/Trek within 2 months of the original Date of Travel.
The friend receiving the transferred booking will be eligible only if they have not booked any Trip/Trek with Skyhike and have not yet traveled with Skyhike.

If Skyhike is informed before 20 days of the Date of Travel, the traveler can receive an 80% cash voucher in the form of HikeCoin for any other Trip/Trek.
The voucher will be valid for 1 year.
₹1 = 10 HikeCoins.

If Skyhike is informed 20 days before the Date of Travel, the traveler can receive a 90% cash voucher in the form of HikeCoin for the same Trip/Trek.
The voucher will be valid for 1 year.
₹1 = 10 HikeCoins.

A traveler may be eligible to receive a refund if the booking is cancelled and Skyhike is informed more than 7 days before the scheduled Date of Travel.
The refundable amount will be calculated according to the applicable cancellation charges mentioned in this Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Where a refund is applicable, GST and payment gateway charges are non-refundable.
These charges will not be included in the refundable amount.

If a traveler cancels the booking within 7 days of the scheduled Date of Travel, the booking amount will be non-refundable.
No refund will be provided for cancellations made during this period.

The advance amount is non-refundable.
A guest is eligible to request a refund only if the paid booking amount exceeds 30% of the total Booking Cost.

Flight, train, and bus tickets once issued are non-refundable unless the respective carrier's official policy allows cancellation with a refund.
Where a refund is applicable, it will be processed according to the terms of the respective organization or booking portal, and applicable service charges will be deducted.

Permit fees, forest entry charges, and third-party service charges are non-refundable.

No refund will be provided for partially utilized services, including early check-out, skipped meals, missed sightseeing, or missed transportation.

If sightseeing tickets have already been booked, refund eligibility will depend on the official cancellation policy of the issuing authority or organization managing the specific attraction.
